Exam Pattern
The Aspirants appearing for the HPPSC HPAS Examination will be selected on the basis of Prelims and the Mains Exam.the Prelims Exam is for mere qualification and the marks obtained are not counted towards the actual merit. The weightage will be more on the Mains Examination with about 20 times total the approximate number of vacancies, so prepare well in order to grab this golden opportunity.

The preliminary Exam consists of Objective Type Questions
Each question will carry 2 Marks
There is negative marking and for every wrong answer, one-third of the marks will be deducted as penalty
The total duration of the examination will be 4 Hours i.e. 2 Hour for each paper
