How do I learn digital marketing?

I am an entrepreneur and want to learn digital marketing. Kindly guide my how to go about it and learn digital marketing in the most effective and shortest time possible.

    1. Learn By Doing: Get involved and get your hands dirty. Try out various marketing activities yourself such as website optimization, on-page, off-page, Social Media Marketing, content writing, graphic designing etc. It may seem daunting initially, but once you start to enjoy it, your learning curve will be will reduce and knowledge will increase.

    2. Connect & Engage: No one can learn everything himself/herself. You would need support from the community, there are lakhs of experts out there available on social media, forums, and private communities. Get in touch with them, ask them, follow them. I am sure you will get a lot of insights and learn some amazing tips & tricks.

    3. Read Blogs: Though you start with some really good books available out there in the market, however, digital marketing is exponentially changing domain and it can’t be ever encapsulated in a book. You would need to keep yourself updated with the latest trends and techniques published by research agencies.

    4. Take a course: In conjunction with the above techniques, you must take formal education to develop a base and learn all the areas of digital marketing once from an expert. It will gear you up for self-learning, work on a real-time project, and commence your journey as a digital marketer.
