    The syllabus of the UPSC Exam and the HAS Exam are not exactly the same but there are overlapping contents. In terms of difficulty, the UPSC Exam is of higher difficulty than the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services or HAS Exam. In addition to the common subjects of Indian Polity, Economics History and Geography etc one has to cover the same for the state. Here are some of the books that are handy for the preparation of both IAS as well as HAS Exams. Also, in addition, we are mentioning the books for the preparation of the state-related syllabus.
