The preliminary examination for EPFO Assistant 2019 tests the candidate’s knowledge in three areas mainly English Language, Numerical Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. A student is expected to be adept at Vocabulary and Grammar. Candidates who are not so proficient in the English Language can refer to Wren and Martin book on English Vocabulary. In an ideal situation, the aspirant should study the basics of English Grammar along with the rules of their use. Try solving as many exercises on a daily basis The more you exercise the more confident you shall feel to write a great essay or a letter. Read one article on a daily basis and try writing your views on it at the conclusion of the day. Get that evaluated by the teacher and work on your errors. Numerical Aptitude syllabus in the EPFO examination can be covered by referring to class X books of NCERT syllabus. Some of the important topics covered in the Numerical Aptitude examination of the EPFO Assistants examination are Profit and Loss, Interests, Percentage, Work and Time, and Distance and Speed. Most of the times we tend to forget the basic formulas while we progress to the higher classes.
