Examination for recruitment to various positions of RRB NTPC 2019 has been tentatively scheduled between July and September of 2019. Exam is first step for filing 35,208 vacancies Through this recruitment process, RRB will recruit 35,208 vacancies for the posts of NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) i.e. Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.

Latest Update : Railway has cancelled RRB Allahabad DLW (Diesel Locomotive Works) vacancies. Now, the total vacancies are 35208. The vacancies for Visually Impaired (VI) applicants have been increased from 236 to 302.

RRB NTPC EXAM 2019 ELIGIBILITY

For Under Graduate Positions the candidate should have a Minimum Educational Qualification of 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination and Age between 18 to 30 Years as on 01.07.2019. 5 positions consisting of 10603 vacancies at stake, are Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk. Remaining 24,605 vacancies that need to be filled for 8 positions expect candidates to have a minimum of a graduate degree from an accredited University. These 8 positions are Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master.

RRB NTPC EXAM 2019 ADMIT CARD

Admit cards of NTPC are issued 10 days prior to exam by RRB. With exam expected to be scheduled between the months of June and September of 2019.RRB is expected to update the zone wise sie with Admit cards once they are out.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS AFTER RECEIPT OF ADMIT CARD

Ensure that details mentioned on the admit card is correct. In case of discrepancy, the candidate is advised to contact the Board. Important details include your name, Father’s name, Address, Date, time and Venue of the exam, Your Roll No and most importantly reporting time or any other special instructions.

RRB NTPC Selection Process

It is important for the candidates appearing for RRB NTPC to understand the Selection Procedure of the recruitment. There shall be two stages for recruitment and students are selected based on the marks scored in first & second stage whereas other stages will be qualifying in nature.
There will be two-stage selection procedure for junior positions i) Computer Based Test (CBT) and ii) Skill Test (Computer-based Aptitude Test for Station Master and Traffic Assistant, Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper).
Lastly, there will be document verification and medical examination.
For Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, there shall be two-stage CBT followed by document verification and medical examination.

SYLLABUS OF RRB NTPC EXAM 2019

Syllabus of RRB exam covers subjects General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude. While the subject of General Knowledge tests the candidate’s knowledge on topics related to Current Events of National and International Importance,Games and Sports, Indian Polity and Governance- constitution and political system, General Scientific and Technological, Developments including Space and Nuclear Program of India, UN Reasoning has questions based on analogies,puzzles and data interpretation. Mathematics level is matriculation and includes questions asked are based on Number System, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration
