NTA WILL CONDUCT CMAT 2019 ON 28TH JANUARY 2019
Common Management Admission Test 2019 will from now on be conducted by NTA i.e. National Testing Agency instead of AICTE.The application is to be filled online and the Application Forms have been released on 1st November 2018 with the final date for depositing the Form is 30th November 2018. The Exam will take place in two shifts i.e. 9:30 am to 12:30 pm & 2:30 p.m.to 5:30 pm on 28th January, 2018 in about 75 cities. CMAT registration link can be reached at ntacmat.nic.in. The Answer keys will be released on February 3rd, 2019 and the Final results will be declared on February 10 after which the candidate will be able to download their respective score cards. This score is valid for a period of one year only. There is no cap on the number of attempts which can be taken for getting a good CMAT score.
ELIGIBILITY:
• The candidate must be a citizen of India. Foreign students cannot appear for this examination.
• The Candidate must have completed Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
• Any candidate who is appearing in the final year of the Graduation Course (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before the commencement of the academic year 2019-2020 are also eligible to apply for the CMAT online exam.
• The Minimum age for appearing in the exam is 21 years. There is no maximum age limit.
FEE: The payment of the fees can be made through the following modes: –
• E-Challan
• Debit/Credit Card
• Net-Banking
The Application fee for General Candidates is Rs. 1400 and for SC/ST/PH Candidates it is Rs. 700. The application fee is non-refundable.
EXAM PATTERN: the exam is computer-based test consisting of 100 questions for four sections like Quantitative Technique, Logical reasoning, General awareness and Language Comprehension, to be attempted in three hours given time. Total Exam Marks would be 400 marks and the Language of the Paper is English.
SCORING: CMAT 2019 will be giving 4 marks for each correct answer however or every wrong answer, a negative marking of Rs. 1 for each wrong answer. There is no cut off marks in this exam for the admissions for MBA/PGDM institutes. The Approved colleges, after the announcement of the results, release their respective cut off marks for admission to their colleges.
Participating institutes release their own selection process and cut off marks for admission through CMAT. These cut off marks are announced after the declaration of CMAT result.
Universities/Colleges under CMAT: the score obtained in the CMAT exam is applicable in AICTE approved colleges all across India.
