All those students who cleared their preliminary IAS exam must be eagerly waiting for the Mains exam.  The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card for the upcoming mains exam on their official website. All the important information like date, venue, and timings of the exam is specified on the admit card. The exam is going to be held from 28th September 2018 onwards. There is a 10-day gap between the start and the end date of the exam. The timeline of the examination is as follows;

•    Mains Essay exam will start on 28-Sep-2018 (Friday)
•    General Studies Paper I and Paper II on 29-Sep-2018 (Saturday)
•    General Studies Paper III and Paper IV on 30-Sep-2018. (Sunday)
•    After this, there is a 6-days gap for the Indian language paper and English exam i.e. on 06-Oct-2018 (Saturday)
•    Finally, the last exam i.e. Optional Exam will be held on 07-Oct-2018 (Sunday)

1.    Go to the Official website – www.upsconline.nic.in
2.    Click on what’s new section and find the e-admit card link for Civil services (mains) examination
3.    A new screen will open where you will have to click the “Click here” section
4.    Again Click “Click here” on the new screen
5.    Read all the instructions and scroll down. Click “yes” and continue.
6.    You can select one of the two; by Registration ID or by Roll number to download the admit card
7.    Finally, you can enter the detail and click “submit”.
