HISTORY OF AISTE
The reports by the Indian Government and Annual Survey Education Reports (ASER) reveal a sad story of about a quarter of school going students in India are likely to vanish from the higher education system by the year 2022. These dismal figures reveal that most of the students leave education owing to financial reasons which are leading to the loss of immense talent. All of these statistics have propelled both the government and private organization the launch of schemes targeted at scholastic education for the needy and deserving. Scholarships and Talent hunt examinations organised by various groups help in rectifying this mismatch of education funding and enrollment statistics. One such program is the All India Scholarship Test Examination.
